What makes this light different?

Step 1. Dig a 4-1/4inch wide and 3-1/4inch deep hole.(Fig. 1)

Step 2. Pull the fixture out from the embedded part. Remove the waterproof wire nuts from the embedded part. Then remove enough knockouts to accommodate wires.

Step 3. TURN OFF THE POWER. Pass the power supply through the embedded part. Then, place the embedded part in the hole. Use concrete to fill the gap between the embedded part and the hole.

Step 4. Use waterproof wire nuts to connect the lamp wires with the power supply.

Step 5. Buckle the fixture into the embedded part. Then turn the power back on.(Fig. 2)

e.g Suppose there is a set of 4 in-ground lights (each 6W) and 2 path lights (each 4.5W) need to be installed in the garden, How to choose the cable and the transformer?
1. Add the individual light fixture wattages for all lights. 4*6W+2*4.5W=33W
2. The typical distance between two lights is 6-8 feet, but closer or farther is ok too. Based on the above diagram, 6 lights total watts in 0-60 should choose 75-100ft 16AWG power cable.
3. Transformer is large enough to support the Total Fixture Wattage, it should be the best usage within 80 percent of the rated capacity. So in this case a 45W transformer is enough.
